    Default Cell phone use in CANADA/USA

    My partner is Canadian and I am in the US. My partner is in Canada for family business for the next good while.

    Is it possible to get a plan, perhaps family in which we can use phone to phone from US to Canada and the other way around without getting killed by costs?

    How nice would it be to have a shared plan to call Canada and US with no roaming etc.

    Many carriers offer roaming in Canada. T-Mobileicon has roaming in Canada. I think most of the other carriers do also.

    Verizonicon Wireless has a North America's Choice Calling Plan that gives you free roaming and Long Distance in the U.S. and Canada.

    The site says that anyone who is not already subscribed cant access it, join it or whatever.... Verizonicon.

    You can also get a carrier in Canada with USA roaming.

    You're right...Looks like Verizonicon discontinued that plan...Sorry I just had this bookmarked, I should've checked first.

    FYI, this US-Canada long distance plan with Verizonicon looks to be up and running:
