Hello Everyone,

Please tell me someone found a way to get rid of these ugly panda, race cars etc... screensavers on the samsung A460.

Is there a way to upload new ones ? Those on bell.ca are not animated and frankly very ugly.

I don't know how to get rid of the existing screensavers

BUT

I do know how to upload customized screensavers (NOT ANIMATED[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img])

If you want instructions, let me know!

I posted the instruction in another thread. Here it is:

I have been able to make my own images and send them to my phone using the same method as the ringtones described in this thread with the exception of the mime-type. The correct mime-type for images is "download/ss-a460-bss" and .bmp for the extention. You have to make the image 5cmx3cm (approx.) and it has to be saved as BMP MONOCHROME. I haven't been able to upload any other types/formats.

It was originally for the ringtones, but I found out how to use another mime-type for the screensavers!
