Default Emailing Stan Sigman Was A Good Thing...

I had been having some issues with my V551. I went through 3 of them. After trying to deal with Customer Care and them only telling me they can send me another V551. I decided to try email Stan Sigman. I now got a free brand new RAZR. I did explain to them that I did need a stable phone and I was just really down because of the multiple exchanges that I had been going through. I sent that email out last night and they called me this morning. I must say I am really impressed.

Wow, that is impressive. I'm glad Cingular finally did something to make you happy again, after so many exchanges you deserve it. Sometimes you just have to go up the ladder if you have problems.

Well usually, I'll go round and round with Customer Care until I am satisfied. It's just that I have other things going on right now and I don't have the time to do the round and round bit. I remember reading good results from people who emailed him so I thought I would give it a try and voila, it worked.

They didn't take away my V551 either. It works ok. It's suddenly turned off on me before and that is why I complained. *I am picky* about stuff like that. So I got my RAZR, my V551 and my two unlocked Nokias from AWS.

How did you get his e-mail address? That's really, really cool... too bad I've got T-Mobile. Maybe ShoresGuy could help me e-mail DT's CEO if I ever have issues with one of their handsets.

Of course, you realize that is not their personal address. Some say the stan.sigman@cingular.com is the address for the "Office of the President". It turns out that the "Office of the President" is the name of their top customer care center where highly trained technicians and reps specialize in answering these emails.

Yes, because if it was his personal email could you imagine trying to read all the wild emails that are probably flowing in there, especially now.
I do hear that he will read some at random though, & the people that do read the emails are as you said, specialized.
