Agreed, and besides, why would we want to change the Sprint name to begin with, not to mention the cost of changing all the logos on everything.

The name Sprint alone is much better than Sprint-Nextel in my opinion. I don't think there isn't much NEXT about Nextel anyway. If anything it is "PASTel"

. Sprint is basically saving their *** by bringing their technology, network and services to the table. Nextel is just bringing in money and valuable customers with some incompatible spectrum. So in the end they will be just exiting the market gracefully before being crushed by competition. It was their only way out, really.

My favorite name for the combined company was NexSprint because it makes it sound like "The New Sprint".

Sprint-Nextel would not have sounded all that great, I agree, but having just Sprint is sad because I did like the name NEXTEL and seeing it just disappear would be sad; Sprintel would be cool, but I don't think it would be worth it to change all the logos, etc...too much money and effort.
