After several hours of F**king around with this stupid thing I finally have the answer. If you keep on getting error 734 (ppp drop) then this will fix it. If you have any further questions you can post em or e-mail me dubbs@unitwraith.com anyway.... 1. Install your modem drivers and make sure they work properly 2. Go to network connections and set up a new connection name it cingular 3. User name and password are WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM, CINGULAR1 4. Number to dial is *99# 5. and then make sure the following are set. Properties > Configure > Maximum speed is at max Properties > Security > and make sure you allow unsecured access Properties > Networking > Settings > Enable LCP Extensions And it should work |
