Well, I might get hit with overages for the first time in my life. I have 26 minutes left on Verizon thru Wednesday and 90 left on my TM account through April 9. Yikes!!

One roomate before he bought a wireless phone. needed to make a call home. I told him he could use my phone for about 5-10 min after 8pm (off peak airtime) he could use it as long as he wanted, if I did not need to use my phone. For some reason he though it was 8:05 and it was 7:05 and talked for 65 min |

Last time that happened to me i called Sprint's customer service and they gave me 100 courtesy mins to hold me over, how's that for great customer service. BTW, this is my rollover balance on my Cingular account > Rollover Balance 1369

I haven't gone over my anytime minutes in about 3 years. I used to have a plan that had 300 anytime and now I have 350. It's been perfect for me. The closest I've come was 327 out of 350.

That's what happens when you don't have Rollover!

Gotta love rollover. I've went over my anytime minutes a couple of times and rollover has saved me from having a high bill. |

Someone can have my 3700 rollover minutes LOL. I mostly call the parents, so that's M2M, then I use about 400 anytime to TM and Verizon. My parents more or less only call Cingular customers. I'm definitely getting them off my plan (back to prepaid), and bumping down to 450, and I'll still have a good 200-450 extra ollover to use each month |

Matt, why in god's name did you go back to Verizon? I am familiar with the Sprint-->TM transition, then you had Cingular for a bit too. You are changing carriers more than phones nowadays! Haha

One month, I had something like 25 minutes left with 10 days left in my cycle. I use my cell phone for work purposes so I don't have to pay for Zone calls or LD on my land line...however, as I was getting down to the last 10 minutes before my cycle was up, I started to use my landline as I have a 5 cent/minute anytime plan, which is A LOT better than the overage charges on a cell phone!!

I haven't had to worry about minutes for the past ten years, working in the wireless industry does have it's perks. I use about 4500 peak minutes per month....hardly any nights or weekends.

I went with Verizon because of cheap phone on a 1 year contract...Sprint wanted twice as much for a basic phone on a 1 yr contract and I just need rural back up with my job. As for my usage. I only ended up going over by 13 minutes with VZW and 4 minutes on TM (as long as I wait 7 minutes before making a call). I can't believe I used over 850 peak minutes this month. I've also used 400 weekend/weeknight minutes on TM, 2200 SMS and counting, and 300 M2M minutes on TM. Yikes!!

For me, this exact situation makes having multiple carriers handy (and worth it). This is why I love T-Mobile's 1000 anytime minutes, Verizon's "IN" M2M, and Cingular's Rollover. |
