Unhappy ScanDisk

I am trying to get photos from my Razr phone to my computer. I have a Dynex Compact/Flash card reader and I purchased a 2gig micro memory card. I have the photos on the memory card but the card is too small for my reader even with an adapter. Do I need to purchase another memory card reader? It's frustrating!

You likely need a micro SD to standard SD adapter.

Some phones will act as mass storage device when connected with a USB cable, effectively turning themselves into a card reader. I would suggest you find out whether that's the case with your RAZR.

The OP would likely still have problems trying to fit a standard SD into the CompactFlash reader.

Correct. If the Dynex card reader has only one slot, for CompactFlash (CF), it will not work with any size Secure Digital (SD) . Many card readers have multiple slots to support diferrent physical formats, but the OP only specified CompactFlash.

As far as cost, however, it's probably a toss-up between the cost of a USB cable for the phone or a CF reader plus micro CF adapter. I have found phone USB cables to be fairly expensive unless you do some hunting online.

Thanks for the reply but I finally figured it out! I had an adapter and just put it in my computer card reader and voila!
