Help picking phone

I'm looking for a new cell phone and need help. What I need is a phone with the best reception since our house is located in an area where reception is bad. I also need a phone that is loud since my husband has a very bad hearing problem. He uses 2 hearing aids. I don't care about pictures, music or texting or other great things you can do with a phone. Right now we have a Samsung SGH C417 and only use it when we travel.

This may be shutting the barn door after the horse is out, but has your husband considered a hearing aid model with a Bluetooth function? That way the phone call (any phone that is Bluetooth enabled) receives sound directly through his hearing aids, rather than through the phone, while you are able to use the phone also. I just purchased the Siemens "Pure" model of hearing aids, and this feature is great. They can also receives sound from the TV and iPod.
