Hi, Can anyone help answering this question ? The cellular coverage in my house is very poor, I am trying to test some relay devices. Is it legal to use the cellular frequency inside my house for any purpose ? Thanks |

thank, TJ, for your answer. To be more clear, do you mean that if I am not licensed to use the frequency (like the mobile operators who has the license), I will have to obtain the permission from the mobile operator ? Besides this, do I also need obtain license from FCC ? I will use the repeater to boost the signal strength to my cellphone. What do you mean by the second of the three conditions you listed in your reply -- "repeating device is not directly hooked up to your phone " ? do you mean that if the device is somehow connected to me cell phone, I'll be free to use the frequency ? Thanks. |
