I'm going to renew my contract but don't need a new phone I know some people in NY that would give you rebate for signing up with no new phone, is it possible to do it over the internet.

Welcome to WA!

Why renew if you're not getting a new phone? Are you changing your plan? If you're not changing your plan or getting a new phone there is no need to renew your contract. You should be able to go month 2 month for as long as you like. You do know that you don't have to have a contract to have service right?

well since my contract is up I wanted to renew and maybe get a rebate, I don't need a new phone my current one is just fine.

I agree with tmobileman, consider that while your phone is still fine now, you might feel different a year or so from now and you'll be stuck paying full non contract prices at that point.
