Question Hill top location for cell tower

I own a hilltop with an elevation of 200 feet above sea level. It is located 20 miles south of Boston in the seacoast community. It is the highest elevation with 360° line of site. Permitting is most likely it abuts the town water tower because of the rugged terrain, surrounding properties are not developed. On same hill located at elevation 150 above sea level is a 150'cell tower hosting maybe 10 companies along with large dishes mounted on the ground next to tower ? Can anybody tell me if it would be profitable for me to permit the property for cell towers and go into competition with the existing facilitys in place.

I would guess that if they already have a site setup and a lease, they're not likely to spend money to set up a new site to get better lease rates. The first tenant and tower builder would be spending about $250,000 to get a tower established. I think co-lo costs about $30,000.

Before you do this how will this go down with your neighbors? Even though you own the property local ordinances may have some say on what you can place there (such as a communications tower.)

See which of the tower companies (Crown Castle, etc.) it is, and give their competition a call.

Well you can try to contact them and see. I think if something is in place it would not be in thier best interest to add something else but you never know.
