On Average, How Often Do You Get A New Phone?

You know in 2007 I went on a rampage with over 20 phones crazy. The start of this year to date I have used about 8 phones lol. But you know I have finally landed on my current 8350 I think it is a great phone I think I will be using it tell I can upgrade. Next time around though I hope to have a little slimmer phone so it goes in the pocket better.

I change or replace my phone whenever i needs or saw that it's new feature should i had and correlating to my work. Sample whenever no 3G coverage, i use 2G phone to fetch my email, since 3G covering now, i use 3G phone

im on my 3rd operational phone

1st motorola microtac 1993-2008 reason- analog sunset
2nd samsung a310 2003-2008 reason- had to switch to sprint since no version coverage at bottom of big hill
3rd sanyo scp-3200 reason- switched to sprint those jerks a sprint wont let me use my old phone, the samsung ive had for over 5 years (i know its a crappy phone, but i loved it.)

What's version coverage? I've never heard of more than one version of coverage for everyone.
