I have a Ampd mobile razor. Since they went under I got a different carrier. I would like to get rid of all the Ampd stuff on my phone so I can use this razor like a normal person. Ampd phones wont let the user use a song as a ringtone, they made you buy each ring tone. Even if you bought a song from them or downloaded a song from your computor you cant use that song as a ring tone, the Ampd razor does not give you that option. I hope this is in the right forum. Thanks in advance for any info.

I am not sure that I used the right terminology, I dont know the proper terms, Is there a way I can reprogram this phone or install a different operating system. Can I install something from a computor or a disk? Thanks Again!!

I don't think any carrier will activate that phone. Even if you flash the phone, it would still be useless. Did Ampd refund your money for the phone?

Will for kicks and giggles you can try to google search your ideas and it might be found.

Yeah, I don't think they will. And just a fyi Verizon does the same thing with ringtones.

They'll most likely make you buy one.

I got it activated thats not the problem, the phone works great. I just want to get rid of all the Ampd stuff.
What about doing a master clear or a master reset process on it? The manual says it will reset it to factory settings. Does that mean factory without the Ampd live stuff?

For flashing, try criagslist.com I see ads for that kind of stuff on there.
