How to get a cell phone to dial a phone number using a computer?

I have a Nokia 6682 with cingular service and am running windows xp on my computer. In order for me to access a property management system that is at my workplace I need to dial a specific phone number which I typically do with a land line. My computer and cell phone have a bluetooth connection established already. Is it possible to use the bluetooth connection and get the cell phone to dial a telephone number? Essentially, I do not want to have a land line to conect to work, instead I would like my cell phone to act as one. Any help would be really appreciated. I have spent hours searching online, but could not find answers. Thank you

im not sure about a nokia but i can make outgoing calls from my computer when my phone is connected with motorola phone tools. i have the motorola e815 and it just brings up like a virtual phone on the screen that i can dial numbers from and such. im not sure if nokia has a program like this or not ive never had a nokia that i could connect to a computer just old trac phones and ones that wernt even color screens let alone having bluetooth lol.

I think you are asking to have the computer dial the phone and use the line for data. You can't do that on cell phones. Too much data gets lost and the connection drops with the remote computer. You can use the phone for data access via the internet, if your remote computer you are connecting to is also connected to the net. The only thing you can do is have the computer dial the line and use it for voice communication, and that really isn't practical as you might as well just store the number in the phone's memory and not haul the computer around with you.
