Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? I've noticed that hofo will sometimes intermittently go down for periods that last just 1 or 2 minutes. Usually late at night. It's weird.

Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? That used to be a problem about a year or 2 ago. But recently it has been working pretty reliably for me.

Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? No problems in Greater L.A.
HoFo is coming in loud and clear. The site is as ornery as always.
one028, have you made any changes to your firewall lately? Or it could be the servers you use to access the internet.
PacTel Cellular (1994) became AIRTOUCH (1994-2000) which became verizonwireless (2000-Present)

Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? HoFo works fine for me, in Lansing, MI.
I made the switch from GSM back to CDMA. I am happy with the service, but not the phone selection.

Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? ...If I were a fanboy in the least, I'd go out on a limb and say that WA is the Verizon
of the Wireless Forums, compared to all the other wannabe-WA's.
It's a good thing I'm not a fanboy, cuz my flame-suit doesn't fit anymore!!!
We don't need no HoFo Drama in these parts!!!

My words of wisdom and random thoughts....Doesn't matter how many people are on a network, you can only use one phone at a time...ok maybe two...

Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? Dem dar's fightin' words
I lurked on HoFo for a short time, but in the past as a BB used, it was BBforums and Pinstack for me. Then I found WA and added it to my standard rotation, along with my auto-enthusiast boards.
When I finally decided to post something and joined, I never got the confirmation email to be able to actually log in. I went through the little process 3 times before I finally gave up on the site. I may lurk once in a while, but so far I am finding the BlackJack info I need here on WA.
I like WA, and have the T-Shirt to prove it.

Re: is howardforums site down? michigan area only? I have to admit, I visit HowardForums far more than I do here. I like it over there. It's not better, it's just different. I think it is geared to a different crowd, like WA is.
