Thumbs up If you're considering starting a new service plan..

I recommend COSTCO PRICE CLUB their phones with plans are hands down the cheapest i have ever seen [after rebates of course]

offers: Sprint, Verizon, T-Mobile
[not Cingular because their Customer Service is too poor]

Take a look at Cricket.

NO plans.
NO credit check.
UNLIMITED: calls (in-state/out-of-state), txt messaging, pic messaging, there was more.

All for $45 a month.

So far my son is getting better reception than VZW and Cingular. We live in a mobile home and his picks up in the ALL-metal shell, ours won't.

Unfortunately for me, I'm stuck with the big boys of wireless in these parts... Cricket is in Macon/Columbus, GA (both are about 3-4 hours away); MetroPCS (I wouldnt consider them anyway) are in ATL and S. Florida

I welcome competition... maybe with time, Metro will arrive in the Panhandle
