Cingular - Put sim card in different phone

I was just wondering...my friend gave me a motorola razor and he had cingular as his service....is it possible for me to buy a cingular go phone and get the prepaid minutes and just take the sim card out of the phone i buy and put it in the razor would i be able to do that please help....thanks

Yes, if he has cingular and you get cingular Go Phone service you can take the SIM from your phone and put it in the Razr. Note that it's a Motorola Razr not a Razor. You get razors down at Walgreens or CVS. You get Razrs at a place that deals with cellphones
