Default Help with Bluetooth headset...

First, thanks in advance for any help.

I have a new LG VX8100 phone, and a 1 year old MoTo Bluetooth headset(HS820). I have gone over and over the instructions of both devices, but the phone will not find the headset. It searches to no avail. I have powered both off and on again too... I have my old Motorla phone and I just tested the headset and it works with the old phone, I then dumped the profile on the old phone to avoid a conflict witht the new 8100.

Any experience or help/suggestions.

Thanks again,

Mike

I don't know what to say. I had no problems pairing my HS820 to an LG CU320. It was just about the only thing on that phone that worked well. Make sure the BT feature on the phone is turned on, and discoverable. That's all I can think of. By default BT is off when you buy the phone.
