how do u use the "pager" function on ur phone/ voicemail?????

It depends on the service. On my Cingular phone, the voice mail person's voice said: "if you'd like to send a numeric text message, press 1" (or some other number). Sprint's is similar, except it tells you to hit a button for "more options." I can only assume the other carriers are similar.
