Hi, This is my first cell phone. I have a Sanyo 4900. I spoke to a sprint representative and they recommend that i dont go to other site to download my ringtones etc.. I just wanted to ask around to see if it is safe for me to download materials from other website that is not sprints. Can anyone help? |

i would say it is safe to the same extent that it is safe to download anything off the net.. i have used many sites, and have had no complications or troubles to date.. I have used pcspics.com, geckotek.net, 3gvisioncorrection.com and 3gforfree.com.. all of which are free, have plenty of content etc etc etc.. if your really concerned, just upload your own content and you wojnt have to worry about it.. for example.. if you go to t1mmy's site t1mmy's upload tool you can use your own .jpg's or midi's etc etc... happy downloading :-)

Shakira, downloading ringtones from other sites should be as safe as it is from Sprint. Enjoy it while it is safe. Viruses have not been invented for cell phones yet [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
