Default AT-COMMANDS for 1x

I have a device (DTE) that can only talk at 38,400bps. Does any one know the commands to go from is-95 back to 1x then back again?

Trying to build a TC/IP stack for a QCP-2235

This is what I have come up with

AT$QCMDR=2 >ENTER< set handset back to 19,200bps

AT$QCQNC=1 IS-95B connection

AT$QCMDR=3;&C2 >enter< THIS TO GET HANDSET IN 1X mode (MDR=3=1X 2= v34)

Any help world be great

DTE = weather station

Okay, it's been about 6-8 months since I played with these setting and I don't have a phone in front of me, but I believe on that phone model there is a setting that you can go into to set your connection rate. I remember this because the previous models would only connect at 19,200 and I had a pocket pc that I wanted to connect and had to trouble shoot the connection by changing this setting on the phone.
