Default Is anyone connected to AOL Instant Messenger on their phone?

I was wondering whos connected to AIM on their wireless phone. I have a Kyocera 2135 with Verizon's FREEUP. I tried to connect to AIM but it sends me a message saying "Screen name or password not valid." Thanks for your thoughts.

I use it on my T-Mobile service with no problem. It sounds like it thinks your username and password are wrong. Are you using the right CAPS at the right time when you enter either of them.

No problems here with Nextel (uses browser instead of text messaging, though)...

Its just my phone. My cheap Kyocera 2135. Sometimes it fails to deliver messages. I'm sure it works flawlessly on better phones.

Good Lord 'n butter, Scott. If I had to remember all those I'd never use AIM on my phone.

ZaphodB,

I agree - I have them in my phone book as entries that begin with "AIM ..."
