Default Prepaid - How it works?

I understand that T-Mobile prepaid phone is a Nokia 3390, and At&Ts is a Nokia 3361. Lets say I Had the Nokia 3361 on ATT for prepaid, would I be able to use any other phone by removing the SIM card and putting it in another ATT phone or will it not work? I know for Cingular you can swap prepaid cards in and out(I know people who do it for International prepaid). For prepaid activations Cingular doesnt even ask anything about the phone itself if someone brings in a phone to be activated. I wouldnt think any of the other carriers would have any problem with swapping cards in and out, but you may want to try talking to someone better versed with ATT.

Actually that won't work because only GSM phone's use SIM cards. The Nokia 3361 is a TDMA/Analog phone. Currently AT&T does not sell GSM prepaid service.

Default Prepaid - How it works?

all of a TDMA phone's programming is done into the handset itself... THERE IS NO CARD to remove or anything else you can "swap out" to use a different phone with AT&T's prepaid service. Basically, you'd have to get another TDMA phone, get the ESN off the phone, call into CS and have them do an ESN switch... and there's no guarantee they'll even do it because AT&T is very picky about what phones they allow on their network. As you can see, switching phones on TDMA is a lot more difficult than with GSM.

Also, I find it horribly amusing that you supposedly sell phones, yet you don't know jack about them.

I'm sorry mrnokia but I have not been feeling well today and have been a bit cranky. I apologize for being a little short with you.
