As far as I understand, I can get e-mail through yahoo and MSN on my mobile. However, how about e-mail from my company's e-mail server? How does that work? From what I have read, it seems as though there are solutions which allow me to load software on my PC, and as long as the PC is running, I get real-time data exchange between it and my phone. However, if I have a laptop which I take with me when I travel, that won't work. There are other solutions which require the company to load software on their enterprise server, which then allows everyone on the service to get real-time data exchange. However, my company doesn't currently offer this service. So, am I missing something? Is there another way to get e-mail from my corporate e-mail account through my phone? Thanks, Mike |

| I am not a total expert... but T-mobile for sure sells data packages that allow you to access corporate/pop/imap accounts over their GPRS network. You need to sign up for that plan and have a gprs card for your computer... You can also access your email via handhels like the Blackberry or pocket pc. I think there are also interfaces which allow you to check your corporate email via wap services. I can check my yahoo email via my wap service. but it's a pain to write one on the phone... C. |

Check out Business connection enterprise edition or person edition or Wirelessknowledge.com for some products that will work. Or simply set-up a rule in outlook to forward your emails to your phones email address. |

Wireless Knowledge is a good solution. They were a Qualcomm and Microsoft venture. They have a desktop version and an enterprise version which works with both Exchange and Lotus Notes. The enterprise version will require integration with a server to translate with your mail servers. Not a single user type of implementation. WK allows you to access your mail/contacts/calendar from any browser (phone, desktop, palm, ppc, etc) from anywhere you have internet access. Most corporations will not allow POP or IMAP to the internet. Some allow internal connection of POP and IMAP but require a VPN. So chances of getting corporate e-mail without support from your IS department are very slim. |
