I am going nuts. My co-worker has a sprint phone. It is about a year old. It is not getting service in our office. I use verizon, and it is 1900 here in Florida. I have four to five bars all the time. I think if he updates his PRL list he will be able to use the digital Verizon signal instead of an analog one. If any one knows, it would be a great help.

I doubt updating the PRL would do anything.

prl update would no absolutely nothing if its not getting any service. See if anyone else has sprint in your office and check if they can get service there. This is to rule out any handset problems.

The only reason I posted this was to see if there was not a SPCS signal would or should it go to the verizon signal. When it does this will the display say SPRINT PCS or EXTENDED AREA, like my Verizon does when it goes on to a SPCS tower.

sprint doesnt have extended areas. its all on sprints digital network. Anything else is considered roaming

I believe Sprint's roaming partner for Florida is an analog carrier. This mean you probably can't roam on Verizon 1900 Mhz.
