I thought you were asking why Sprint
had service there but couldn't buy it. Maybe I misread your post. As far as SPRINTPCSUCKS.org goes I have said numerous times that it's a site that was created over 4 years ago and has a lot of mis-information.

Wouldn't surprise me. But let's be fair to Sprint
here. They use anything and everything to try to discredit them and make them look bad. For instance they linked up some web site critizing Sprint
for trying to improve thier service by adding an antenna on the roof of a school, (which is sometimes the only suitable location in a residential area). They try and make them look like they are doing something terrible and putting children at risk. I can tell you for a fact that placing antennas at schools is a very common practice and is done by EVERY carrier including Verizon
and AT&T
. I can provide some examples of this right here in my home town. Does anyone complain? Usually not. Does anyone care? Usually not. Only a bunch of wealthy attorneys who think they can make all the rules care. So why single out Sprint
for this? Critize all carriers the same. It just proves that they are unreasonable folks. I can go on and on about that site and pick it apart if needed. My attempts to e-mail them and challenge them to a debate have so far gone unanswered.

i Could care less if Sprint
places antenna on a school roof. I think they should do more of it because they pay a nice fee to do that and schools can use al the money they get. I just think that Sprint
has the worst customer service. That is the main reason i hate it but i am stuck with it because it is the best service i can get in my area.
I would love to have Verizon
, AT&T
or even Cingular.
I would love to have other choices in my area that will alow me to use my phone with out having it roam all the time and making me chose from such bad phone equipment. Sprint
will not sale any Motorola phone equipment and i think it is the best equipment for the type of work i use. I have had a cell phone for 12 years and every time i have had any other phone that was not a Motorola i have hated it.

Yes the schools are very well compensated for leasing space to build antennas. I think that every carrier should do whatever they need to to provide better service. But that web site we were discussing tries everything they can to make Sprint
look bad instead of just sticking to the basics of what their particular problems were. They even went as far as linking up 2 year old posts from newsgroups to make Sprint
service look bad even in areas where Sprint
won the JD power
award. Everyone knows that the newsgroups have negative posts about every carrier so that is totally unfair. That is why they cannot be taken seriously.

Sprint
PCS doesn't sell Motorola phones right now cause they can't get them right for Sprint
. Motorola makes good phones for Verizon
and ALLTEL networks but for GSM networks they seem to make quite average phones and for Sprint
they just can't get it right.
Sprint wants there phones to perform the best they can on there network and Motorola phones don't cut it for Sprint PCS that's why they don't sell them.

Quick question -- are you originally from a Commonwealth country?
You spell the americanized version of "color" and "rumor" as "colour" and "rumour" respectively, which is the english spelling of it. No big deal...just an observation...
