Default Qwest dispute

I've had so many problems with Qwest that it's exhausting. I continue to receive the "run around" on the latest bout of unjust billing problems.

I have their Basic 700/1000 plan. This plan no longer exists but, I have it. Qwest tells me that voice messaging is an additional charge. This I don't understand because I never paid it before. Qwest also tells me that the plan doesn't cover roaming which is their justification for imposing roaming charges on my most recent bill. Roaming was disputed last year and Qwest reversed roaming charges. I keep asking for a copy of the plan's original description. They keep reiterating the plan's current description and denying that roaming and voice messaging were part of the original plan. This plan no longer exists on their website.

I visited their website in Dec. 2001 to review the plan. (This was part of a different dispute). At that time, I could swear that there were no roaming charges and voice messaging was included. Qwest won't provide a copy of the plan as it appeared in Dec. 2001, I don't have a contract to refer to since they never mailed one (part of an earlier dispute in Feb 1999). How can I get a copy of the promo that appeared on their Dec 2001 website?

I think I'm going crazy.

Do you have any past bills that provide detailed information on your account or previous calls made from your phone? Perhaps you could refer to a set of calls that included roaming charges or a set of features that included voice mail.

My suggestion is that you get a new service. It's just not worth putting up with bad customer service..A company that doesn't even do buisness in person? Who wants to do that kind of buisness? Look at the frustration and stress it's causing.
Oh, and another reason to leave them...They're BANKRUPT!! Going out of busness and selling their towers. That might be a pretty good reason to leave besides, you can get a lot better rate plans elsewhere with far less stress.. Just my two cents worth.
