I heard the weirdest thing, I was sitting down to lunch the other day and this guys phone started ringing, only it was playing Iron Man from Black Sabath. The guy told me you can download Metallica, Classical, Rap etc. I thought I had heard it all..........

It's actually pretty cool. I was just awe struck to think the ozzman cometh to cell phones everywhere..........lol

Voicestream offer lots of rings & pictures on their website for a price. I got a few off of their, but I found a site that gives you free ringtones. Zingy

I really don't understand the Matrixm ringtones. When I receive ringtones from Zingy, it comes up on my screen and say "Ringtone Received, Save, Playback, or Discard." When I receive them through Matrixm is comes as a text message with a whole lot of numbers.

hehe even voice clips are so passe.

sprints latest phones are amazing.......when my phone rings a playboy playmate in a bikini pops out and gives me a kiss and pinches my butt to let me know i have a phone call.

if its a text message something else happens but i might get in trouble if i tell you.

getting a voicemail is a 2 hour affair so the new phone does have its drawbacks.

Regarding famous voice clips

What I did is search the web for WAV and MIDI files and found a site (don't remember which) that had famous clips from movies and cartoons. I found Foghorn Leghorn's famous quote: "Pay attention to me boy, I'm not just talking to hear my head roar!"

What you need:
A phone that allows you to record voice messages AND use a message as your ring tone. (I have the Panasonic Allure on ATT, but I know other phones are capable.) After finding the file, I merely held my phone to my computer's speakers and recorded it onto the phone.

To IdioTechnology: Careful using that in a business meeting. You might get an EEOC complaint lodged against you. You know how sensitive people are about sexual harrassment these days. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
