Encouraging news (Nokia CDMA 1x phone) a possible new Sprint phone

Here is a copy of the email reply from the Nokia rep I had recently sent an email to. Hopefully this will be a phone Sprint will pick up.

Hi-

Nokia plans to announce its first CDMA 1X phone for the Americas during
the first half of 2002. At this time, no other CDMA launches have been
announced.

Hi-

At this time, we have not announced the form factor or the customers
for
our new 1X handset.
