Ok, in my town, theres an area with about 4 or 5 different cell cites across the street from each other (3 or 4 on buildings) (1 or 2 on a tower). If i take close up pics of each tower/pannel, does anyone here think they can ID the carrier?

We can make suggestions, but it is nearly impossible to tell just by the looks of the towers. You need a phone with Test Mode enabled.

Here's a way to check out some info on the towers, just enter the info it asks for, then it will tell you where the tower is and who owns it. http://www.berkana.com/tower.php3 If you already knew about this, sorry, but I think this will be of help.

But the problem is that web site does not list every tower that exsist. Only some of them.

If you were in Orange County, CA I could probably ID any of them just by looks alone. But the looks of each carrier's towers/panels will vary by market. For example a Cingular or Nextel site on the East Coast may look completely different than ones here on the West Coast due to different requirements and manufacturers. | |

Well, I guess you could just take a pix and post it here...we could guess and someone from your area might be able to ID who it belongs to just by looking at it...
