It just got off the phone with the port center on behalf of a customer and the guy I talked to said the word down there is AT&T went and purchased the same software the rest of us are using and are in the process of trying to switch over. So sometime soon the At&T port horrors should be down to a more managable level.

well, its about time. every customer i ported from ATT (and there were A LOT of them) had some sort of porting issue. they all received credits on their first VZW bill for the trouble.
