The maps are back but it appears that affiliate areas are not ready yet. It also appears that some green future towers have been removed. Sprint tower location maps |

I hope so. They somehow left out all or most of the existing sites in the Beverly Hills/Hollywood Hills area of LA, CA. I'm talking about dozens and dozens completely missing that were shown on the old maps.

Yay! The maps are back. I can still zoom in and get a general idea of where the towers are in my area. These new maps seem to load much quicker then the old ones too. The only thing I don't like is how they clumped in my area with Knoxville so it's harder when zoomed out to get a general idea of how thick the coverage is in my area. They however did that before so I really can't complain about it. |

Yes the new maps do load quicker than the old ones. They also work in Netscape for me now where as before I had to use IE.

It's too bad that some other providers don't have interactive maps like Sprint's. Maybe someday..

I still can't figure out why they would make so many mistakes and leave out many towers this time. Someone did a very poor quality control job on these latest maps.

I just noticed that Sprint has added this disclaimer at the bottom of the tower map page: 'Tower maps sets forth the approximate location of some, but not all of our towers. These tower maps are NOT coverage maps and are not in any way intended as a guarantee of coverage or service availability. Click here to view Sprint wireless coverage maps. The launch of future towers and the location of these towers is subject to change.' So they are admitting now that the maps do not include all towers. I had been complaining to them that dozens of towers had been inexplicably removed when they last updated the maps. |

I agree especially since they used to have more of them on there. Why all of a sudden delete towers that are currently in operation??

Maps of DE seem to be at 100%. Less green and more activated ones now! About 3 came online. I hate how Northern/mid DE is philly, southern DE is baltimore. It's a pain. These maps took me 15 mins to load....stupid dialup. Took like 2 seconds at school.

AirB, I'm almost postive that none of the towers that used to be green are now showing as active. They simply deleted some of the green future towers off the map. That's why it looks like they have more active ones now. There are many green towers that were removed and many other have been active for as much as 6 months and are still showing as green future towers. Nothing was updated with the last maps except for some deletions which doesn't make sense. |

For DE, about 3 did come online. There aren't that many sites in our small state, so I knew 2 came online north, and one near me. That was what, like 2 weeks ago. Today, I can't load the maps at all!
