I was just looking at Verizon's America's Choice Calling Plans and clicked on the America's Choice Calling Plan. Then it brings up a page where you can see the America's Choice Coverage area and you can also see the Enhanced Coverage areas...What's the difference between those coverage areas??? How will it affect me in using my phone?

One of two things I think. You might be looking at the Digital only map( for that A530 digital only thing) OR you are seeing Verizons native coverage then the coverge of thier roaming partners. Look at the map with enhanced coverage for a more accurate view of coverage, as long as ur arent useing that digital only phone. Just my 2 cents, I could be wrong!

The enhanced map shows you where 1xrtt is rolled out and where Get it Now and similar products will work. The AC rate map shows you where if you make a call you will be covered by your rate.

There are also areas labelled "Extended Network." These are covered by the America's choice rate plan, but are analog only. There is no digital coverage in these areas. I was traveling in northern New Hampshire last month. There was no Express Network, no Mobile Office, and no text messaging, however, the Voice Message indicator did work. The A530 will not work in these areas. |

Well, there are areas that are in the AC plans that don't have m2m.

It depends on the carrier. I was always charged mobile to mobile with VZW when on USCC and talking to another VZW customer. I seem to remember them saying caller ID needed to be present and network equipped to ID callers in order to bill for M2M.
