Default Sprint PCS Treo 300 vs. T-Mobile PocketPC Phone

Hi,
I am in the process of evaluating pda phones for our sales organization which is nationwide and in Canada. We currently have an agreement with Sprint and I have a Handspring Treo 300 which has been utterly unsatisfying to me. I'm new to the pda world and did not find the Palm OS to be the most user friendly OS to use. It also has difficulty rendering web sites (no javascript, imagemaps) and about 50% of the time it says it cannot connect to the internet at all.
I had a T-Mobile vendor come in and demo the PocketPC Phone. What a difference. Not only did it render web sites correctly, the connection and transfer speeds were much much faster. On average the PocketPC would have the page complete while the Treo was still trying to connect to the internet.
I have read all the threads on the GSM vs. CDMA. Is what I'm seeing here just a difference between PocketPC and PalmOS? Should I get a PocketPC phone from Sprint (theirs is $200 more) for testing?
Thanks in advance,

Jon

How is the phone part of the treo. Is the sprint service in your area any good or is t-mobile better.

Some individuals think that the palm is simpler and easier to use and some like pocket pc. This is a personal decision and what you feel most comfortable with.

I have not used either but a benefit would be the sim card in the t-mobile phones. You could use the pocket pc during the day and then switch sims when you are going out.

Hopefully this ramballing is able to help you

Jack
