Default SprintPCS vs T-Mobile for PDA Phone usage

Hi,
I am in the process of selecting a PDA Phone to deploy across our enterprise which will cover the US and Canada. Thus far we have had an agreement with Sprint and I have the Handspring Treo 300. I am new to the pda world and have found the Treo to be frustrating in terms of being able to connect to the internet. It is also annoying that they give you a browser which cannot handle JavaScript or imagemaps.
At any rate, I had a T-Mobile rep come in and demonstrate a PocketPC and wow, what a difference. The download speed was much faster than Sprint and the browser appeared fully compatible.
I have heard from several people that they prefer GSM service to CDMA. I am trying to collect data to compare the two. Could someone point me towards a white paper or something similar which would compare and contrast the two technologies on a laymans level?
I also need to consider the geographical variations. Just because it works well in Atlanta, doesn't mean it would do well in Fargo.

Thanks in advance.

Jon

Neither Sprint nor T-Mobile is going to work well in low-populated areas. In layman's terms tehre is very little difference between the 2 technologies. Some argue that GSM has a better vocoder for better voice quality, but I think Sprint's voice quality is as good as any I've heard. Sprint's nationwide coverage is slightly better than T-Mobile's. Battery life is based more on phone efficiency than network, because soem GSM phones do better than CDMA and vice versa. I would say go with whatever meets your needs and don't worry about the technology.

I'm sure Northform (the GSM cheerleader) will counter with something that puts GSM on a pedestal. (just kidding)

Note that T-Mobile's Pocket PCs have separate data plans since they can't do voice. Sprint lets you do the same thing with PDAs; they have separate data plans as well. You may want to check on that.
