This thread is all for cellular phone cameras. To start it off I have a few questions: I need to send and recieve photos through my phone. Sony's M-mode phones advertise this feature and are marketing an attachable camera, but I have heard the Verizon Audiovox CDM9500 phone can even view live web cam feed in additon to pictures- but I have never heard anyone connecting a camera to it. I have also heard Nokia is marketing a camera phone but know nothing about it. What phones are currently compatible with cameras, or are any able to plug a generic digital camera into them through a USB port? What phones can send/recieve pictures with what phones (can the CDM9500 send pictures to a Sony Ericsson and vice versa?) Please post any relevant information you have, Thanks! |

To date the best I have seen (also confirmed by phonescoop.com) is the Sanyo 5300, the camera is integrated into the phone and has a built in flash. I would stay clear of the attachable camera for the Samsung phones it has poor picture quality.

First off the 5300 Sanyo is the best camera phone out right now. Here is a link to a picture I took. http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/share....mMP7aNjL5LLhHk This is the greatest way to store pictures also, it uploads usually in about a minute. The only one that is close right now is the Samsung V205 (tmobile). If you want a camera and a phone buy one that is built in, why would you want to carry and additional unit just to take pictures. No Usb. The 5300 can send it to any vision phone or email, email however has to be done through the web site. Samsung v205 and send it to any where that can accept it right from the phone. Trust me the pictures look nothing like that one. It is like 120x80. Email me with any specific questions. |
