Default AMPS CDMA? just CDMA?

Hey guys.

Actually, I have CDMA 800 MHZ cell phone, so, I am trying to open plan at U.S. CELLULAR.

They are use (SYSTEM: 800 MHz AMPS TDMA / CDMA 3G: CDMA2000 1X ).

this time, I was wondering what are the differences between CDMA and AMPS CDMA and could I use my cell phone at U.S. CELLULAR.

thank you and have a good day

There is no such thing as AMPS CDMA. It just shows that the mobile will look for a AMPS (analog) network TDMA or CDMA network which some people call a tri-mode phone. Hope this helps

US Cellular won't activate your phone that you use in Korea because US Cellular will only allow phones that have the US Cellular logo on them to be activated.

800 MHz Cellular providers must send out analog signal until 2008 after that analog is optional and will probably shut down and just digital CDMA on 800 MHz will be what the network is using. 800 MHz CDMA is now there on all of US Cellular's network.
