This has probably been asked to death but I think I may decide on getting the treo. Does anyone have it? Thoughts? |

I have the Treo 650 for VZW, & it's the Cat's Pajama's as far as I'm concerned!!! I have used Palms OS for a while now, & it is good. If you do end up getting one, you will want to spend $9 for a program called VolumeCare, so the phone has great volume. I posted about it previously in the Palm section here. good luck!!! HTH... |

best smartphone by far excellent battery life like wiggy said get volume care I also bought a launcher called zlauncher but a must have if you don't have a data plan ( i don't) is battery dr- if your phone tries to connect to the data network it will disconnect automatically saving major $$$$$) it is useful if you plan to use mms because it will connect you to the data network. If you don't want to use picture messaging then just set up a dummy account under network preferences I love my treo 650!!!!

midi's can be loaded if they are emailed/ downloaded. mp3's can be used but you need pocket tunes which is $$$$ and other software like treoguard? check out this site www.treocentral.com you can play videos/movies on it to there is a program called tcmp that is free. its great

I think you need a program called verichat to do im's. what sucks about the treo is that features like voice dialing, vm alerts, should have been built into the phone. it really isn't a 300.00 phone- add a case which is around 25-100, then a screen protector, extra styli, programs- it adds up real fast

it was for 3 of them and they are worth it...some cost more it is not the cheap one that comes with the device, but a thicker one, and you can't even tell that its there I also got a horizontal pouch case (bellagio) and the pacific rim styli w/ pen.
