Instant MVNOs

Hello Everyone. New here. Well sort of. Been lurking for years but finally participating.

I have been working on a project for some time now that creates private label brands of wholesale wireless carrier services. Basically I am an MVNE that has found a way to lower the cost of entry of MVNOs for different entities from major brands, charities, startups, and individual dealers to offer a fully branded cell phone solution for a fraction of the cost of creating an MVNO from scratch. Instead of bountys on the front end, they keep 20%+ residuals for the life of the customer. Straight revenue share. They can create their own Master Agent/Agent/Dealer programs.

There seems to be a ton of MAs and Dealers in the forum that can provide insights on the front lines to the subscribers.

So my question is this: What kind of business would benefit most from a service like this?

If not business, what value proposition resonates with the subscriber that a brand can capitalize on?

Looking forward to your insights.

I have met some great people here so I want to make sure that they are not loop into what I am about to write but if you are looking to invest in the Wireless Industry, you would be best to STAY FAR AWAY from two companies called "I Deliver Phones" and "Image One Cellular".

So, we were told that they could FLASH Razr phones to the Metro PCS network. I decided to do a test...post the phone, have a customer order the phone and see if the phone worked, respectfully.

I was told one price for the phone and then the phone was another price. I was told that the phone could be delivered "X" day and the phone was not shipped to be delivered until two days later. Thank my lucky stars I did not place these "Phones" on E-Bay and lose my seller's rating.:censored:

Anyway, OF COURSE when the customer finally got the phone delivered, it was NOT FLASHED to the Metro PCS network....it was on the US Cellular network. What was "Image One Cellular" response.....OF COURSE...they would offer "IN STORE CREDIT":censored: like I would ever do business with them again.

The moral to this story is if you are trying to start out in this business, like I am....BE AFRAID, VERY AFRAID :browani: of scam artists like these folks. There are some great people located here to get started in this business with and I have met two of them BUT the businesses noted above, are not either one of them.

Hi everyone, I wish to invest in mobile and cell phones both new and refurb [14-day stock e.t.c], I would like to resell both wholesale and retail and I am looking for a source to get the phones at a price which will allow me to do this. Here in NY the competition is the worst so I would need really great pricing to compete, I am not seeking to make $50 per phone, if I can make as little as $5 per phone but move them quickly then I would be happy.

I have not given much thought about selling phone "services" but I will not count it out, for now, i jsut would like to to start reselling phones and pick up from there. If there aren't any geunine phone wholesalers on this forum then any leads to them would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

hi,
im plannin on opening a small to midsize wireless phone store in orange county ca.
im thinking of carrying att n t-mobile as service providers.
i have doubts since the economy isnt doing so great right now.

does anyone know what the average start up expenses are?
how does the commission plan work with major carriers like att and tmobile?
does the value of the phone sold come out of my commission?
how much are the current commissions for:
single line?
family plan?
upgrades?
and i heard that theres also extra monthly bonuses if a minimum of 50, 100, ..contracts are signed

if there is also anyone out there trying to sell their store in orange county please let me know. i might be interested. also open to a partnership deal (whatever share or if someone has a good running business and would like to expand!!!!!)

Hello. My name is Monica and I am a former Retail Store Manager for T-Mobile and Sprint-Nextel. In addition, I have a current business in the Janitorial Industry. Due to the economy, particularly in Michigan, I am looking to backtrack on my deep cellular knowledge to open either a retail and/or online location in the cellular industry. Current I have office space in that could offer a limited retail location for cellular sales. In addition, with my Janitorial Business, I have a STRONG online base connection with Merchant Circle, blogs and my Newsletter e-mail contacts.

I would like to use my "connections" to work within the cellular market--either Prepaid, Post-Paid or both.....since I have experience in both areas. My available funds for start-up are low but with my cellular resources (i.e. other former employees of the industry I know) I know I could push the phones...ESPECIALLY Boost, Metro PCS and Page Plus.

So, if a Master Dealer or sub agent would get in contact with me to discuss opportunities in this area, I would greatly appreciate it!! Please forward your information to me by PM (following the Forum Rules) and I would be happy talk with you, soon. Thanks!!
