Hi all, anyone had any trouble roaming with AC on Thumb Cellular in Michigan? I got an american roaming network message. It was wierd, friend with a non-ported number (also amerca's choice) had fine service. Calls just didnt go through.

It seems to have been a verification problem for one reason or another. Unfortunately, i was stuck without my phone for a day, but It works while extend on Alltel and others.

I was on the phone for an hour with VZW (top tech support - manager) and they could not seem to find a problem. They even attempted to track my phone to see if the network was indicating that the phone was registering.
Didn't work.

Anyway,
All is cool, have wifi in this hotel. and it actually works!

Well I hope they figure out what the problem is. So both of your phones had fine service but calls didn't go through? Then there's a problem with Thumb verifying/allowing Verizon customers to roam on their network I guess??

No, my friend could place and recieve, while i couldnt... Sad

As I think i said, VZ said, after trying tons, that it was probably due to my ported number.
