Default Verizon freqs in Milwaukee Market

I am in the process of trying to put in an in-building solution to help with my Verizon coverage at my house. I have a CSI BDA that boosts the B & E block but it didn't help my phone's reception. I checked the level at the interior antenna and it was -95db prior to me turning the amp on. When I turned the amp on I got ~ -60dB. This is telling me that my install is good, but the amp isn't boosting the right channels for my phone.

My question is, what freqs does Verizon use in Milwaukee. Could it be in the cellular band (800 MHz)? If they are in the PCS (1900 MHz) freqs, what band do they use????

Verizon is PCS (1900) in Milwaukee, actually all of WI.

Thanks for the quick response. You do not happen to know what band they are in do you? My BDA did amplify the B & E block, but yet his Verizon BB did not have better signal. Maybe he is roaming. Do we know who Verizon's preferred romaing partner is in Milwaukee? Maybe USCC.

Thank you

I don't know what band they are in, sorry.

Yes Verizon's roaming partner in Milwaukee is USCC & they use cellular (800).

Many of us force our phones to roam, since reception on USCC is far superior to what Verizon's is.

Hope this helps

They are 1900 B-band. I got it from a Verizon engineer. I will let you know he results from my "solution" tomorrow.

You can do a license search at wireless.fcc.gov. Select Advanced License Search, then Radio Service Code: CL for 850 and CW for 1900, then click "Geosearch" and select your county. That will return all the licenses in your market.

Milwaukee County:
Cell A = US Cellular
Cell B = Milwaukee SMSA
PCS A = Sprint (Wireless Co) / T-Mobile
PCS B = Verizon Wireless
PCS C = Milwaukee SMSA/Madison SMSA
PCS D = US Cellular
PCS E = T-Mobile
PCS F = NextWave/Carroll WIreless

Thanks!

The problem I am having is that the signal we are trying to amp up is too low. The best I can get is -95 with the current setup.
