Default Is Alltel now higher in the PRL than RFB in the Eastern UP?

One of the other forums reports that Alltel is now the preferrred system when us VZW customers are in the eastern UP in Michigan, rather than RFB Cellular. Can anyone (hi, Rich!) confirm this? Indeed, VZW's coverage locator seems to suggest this when you plug in such cities as Newberry, Grand Marais and Sault Ste Marie (they now appear to be extended network rathern than roaming).

Thanks

Indeed, I know not that it is alltel, but thats just my guess... Its wierd that there are such large gaps still that show "roaming"... That would mean to me that there is coverage, and I'm guessing that's RFB (the roaming coverage in the UP), because the PRL still shows RFB as Roaming in the UP, though IDK how accurate the new PRL page is..?

After all discussion, the question of which carrier is now extended network still stands...

I would say the PRL page is 99.44% accurate. As of the latest PRL there is no change in the Eastern UP. See my post in the other thread for more of my thoughts.
