Default Cell sites

I'm looking into purchasing cell sites in Michigan. Is there a place on this forum or elsewhere on the web that would have information on listings and contacts?

Thanks for the reply, but I see nothing on the ATS site about towers for sale (to be divested?).

I know earlier this decade carriers were divesting themselves of sites. Are those opportunities all gone?

For the most part, yes. All of the carriers still own a lot of towers but no where near the number they did several years back.

American Tower does sell off some towers. I have seen some old AT&T Microwave towers for sale. Alot of your tower buys will be from local owners.

Did they start divesting again? They were selling them en mass a few years back but have since stopped from what I saw.

Maybe it only in rural or local payout sites. Where Im at I have ATC, SBA, GTP and Spectrasite are the primary ones. I go to a tower some months it will be one that the next some times another.

I was doing research about the AT&T long lines micro towers and I found a link about buying those. The AT&T towers that I know you already know arent usually in the best location for cellular but alot of times I will only see 2 way radio on these barren towers.

Hey but for the money you get a well built tower, a nuclear fall out shelter and a back up generator. One of my old bosses was going to buy one, good thing he didnt as of 4 years after he talked about it theres only some amatuer radio on it now.
