Weak Signal Help I have a weak signal at my home. I don't think it's the phone, since it's been the case with a couple of phones.
Is there a signal booster, etc. that I can use on my house to enhance the reception? We're using Cingular with V400 phones.

Any signal booster setup you would use would probably cost a lot more than canceling your service and going with another carrier that works in your home. From what I've read, cheap ones don't work and the ones that do are expensive.

Re: Weak Signal Help I have an amp. It works great, but in many cases you only need an antenna.

Re: Weak Signal Help You may want to try talking while your phone is being charged. It worked wonders for me, while I had my LG 4400.

Re: Weak Signal Help Unless you really want to stick with the provider you have for various reasons, I wouldn't suggest a repeater, since they are very expensive and you usually have to have the cord connected to your phone, so it's like a normal corded phone, not a 'mobile' phone. If you do want to shell out options for a repeater or something along those lines, you can punch in a search and you will find a lot of different systems people here have suggested. Good luck,
Andy
