We noticed the past few days that we are getting a lot of "network busy" and dropped calls, primarily in the late afternoon and evening. We live in Woodridge - a suburb about 20 miles southwest of Chicago. Has anyone else noticed any problems lately? We get a lot of "network busy" when we try to dial out - and if not that, we dial out - it rings once - and then tells us the number we are trying to call is not a working number. We've heard from friends that try to call us, that it will ring just once and go right to our voice message - even if our phones are on. We called Cingular customer support now two nights in a row. My husband spent nearly an hour on the phone with them last night. They tried sending "updates" to our phones. We'll see if that improves anything tonight. The phones are working fine so far this morning. |

Cingular has capacity issues and network related issues in quite a few areas. Southern California isn't too hot right now and some other areas around the countries are experiencing capacity issues. My market also has random "network busy" message errors during rush hour and the error message about the number not beeing a working number was a problem in my market for a long time. It seems that has finally gotten fixed.
