I am looking for new cell service to replace a company that I was having problems with. Does any one in the St. Louis, MO/St. Clair County Illinois area have US Cellular? If so, what do you think of it? The dollars and cents sound great but I don't know anyone who has this service. T-Mobile is also an option but isn't offering as much promotionally -- Anyone have feedback on either of these? |

I have not been to St Louis since US Cellular has had a network there. There were a few postings not too long after the network was online. Sounds like the network in St. Louis was fairly good. Since that was a year ago I am sure it is only getting better. If you from time to time travel outside the midwest US Cellular National plans are not to bad. If you choose a local plan make sure they cover where you go without roaming charges. T-Mobile and US Cellular seem to offer the most minutes since there networks are smaller than other national providers. Verizon and Sprint may also be good choices for you in St. Louis Hope this helps |

I had some experience with US Cellular down there last year. Coverage seemed to be fine, however in Caseyville and Fairmont city (if you ever are in that area) service was poor to none existant.
