I was just wondering if any former CenturyTel areas are seeing CDMA digital pop up in the last few days. I know that here in AR, they turned on about 8 overlays on Friday.....Wondered if it was just here or in other places as well. |

Demo, It appears as though they did most of the upgrades in Michigan before going south. It's great to see the AR systems finally up on CDMA digital. -Bill |

Brad, Bill, I talked with ALLTEL Customer Service today and told them the problem I've been having, and the rep said they expect to have all the towers in my area converted and running by this June (he didn't say how far by...). I'll keep my fingers crossed. In the meantime he told me to switch my phone to analog while I'm at home and back to digital when I'm away. That way I'll get a strong enough signal to my phone to make it ring. I'll just keep it on the charger while I'm here to save the battery. Lynn |

That sounds like a good plan man....Just check it periodically to see if they have done work on your area. I know that the new overlays here have better clarity and service than some of Alltel's older digital network. It will only get better man. Brad |
