Greetings. I am utterly clueless about how to go about finding a wireless plan to get my laptop up and running. Suggestions?

And Nextel has PacketStream Gold for 54.99/month, unlimited use, according to the website.

The only other cost is the wireless NIC (iM1100) which runs 349.99 at http://www.nextel.com.

Cheers.

try T-Mobile you can get the TZones GPRS card and a data only account. the cards are $199-$299 and the monthly service is anywhere from 19.99 - 99.99/month. GPRS is just as fast if not faster than Sprints 1xRTT.
