I would like to upgrade my phone, my contract is over , but t-mobile said I would have to stop service for three months before I can get a new phone with service . So, if I stay with them I would have to buy the phone I want and pay $200.00. When I could get this phone free, I don't understand, it seems they would want me to stay with them, but I guess I will go to another wireless service. Anybody have any ideas?

I've never dealt with T-Mobile, although their reps do keep trying. I'd stop in and chat with them "live and in person" and make sure you understand EXACTLY what they are saying, since this doesn't make even a whit of sense to me. Explain things in your own terms, something like "So T-Mobile actually WANTS me to switch to another carrier?" so it is clear to them what you are hearing. If they tell you yes, ask for a manager and get them to confirm the rep's opinion. If the rep and the manager agree, then I'd say it was time to mosey on down the road! -PatP |
