Default Does Voicestream always make you call them with credit information before you purchaes a plan?

I have excellent credit and I tried to get Voice Stream through Amazon and they sent me an e-mail requesting more information on my credit. My mother, who also has excellent credit and owns a home/cottage/car etc., ect., tried and they did the same thing to her. This again was on a purchase through amazon.com. Does Voicestream always do this, or just when I do it through amazon? Seems like quite a hassle for me...

All wireless providers run a credit check on post paid plans, this is not uncommon.

Yeah but it seems like a real hassle to have to call them up with additional information when they should be able to get all they need with my SS# and DL#...

They should have the information that they need maybe what amazon.com is doing is making sure that you were the one who filled out the online information.
